Under the Right to Education, we are conducting the following programs.
Stationery distribution- Many families in urban settlements cannot bear additional financial burden of stationery, sports events, cultural programs, which leads to leaving school. Our aim is to provide stationery to the needy students, so that poor families do not feel the additional burden of stationery expenses. The Chanakya Jan Utthan Foundation has distributed stationery to about 4000 poor and needy students in the last financial year.
Even today, illiteracy prevailing in India is a big problem. The literacy rate in the country is 74.04 (as of National Census, 2011). When it comes to children, illiteracy has many times more effects.
While there is still a lot of time to achieve the target of universal elementary education, and it affects the status of children's education, even adult illiteracy has an impact on them.
