Digital Education

The coming era is of digital education. A person who does not know about digital education will be called illiterate in the future world. The importance of digital education has increased during the Korona epidemic, which required to adopt online education and use digital techniques to ensure that education in schools and colleges continues, but the fact that the benefits of digital education make a strong case for its continuous existence in the coming years. Computer skills can be defined as life skills in today's world. Without the use of computers, online and offline businesses, educational services and many other fields or professionals are very difficult or impossible to do daily life without internet.

Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities

When the Chanakya Jan Utthan Foundation was launched in 2010, work around the Doiwala area revealed a large number of unemployed persons with disabilities living in this area. It was observed that these persons with disabilities came from very poor families, and their only means of livelihood was daily wage labor. Therefore, the Foundation decided to provide skill development training to individuals with disabilities, making them self-reliant. In this regard, the Foundation has provided training in basic computer skills, beauty parlor skills, sewing and embroidery, and ringal production, and has connected hundreds of individuals with employment/self-employment. Today, all these individuals are leading respectable, self-sufficient lives. The Foundation assists individuals with obtaining disability certificates and U.D.I.D. cards, minimizing their difficulties.

Women Empowerment

India is a country full of diversities. Indian society has been patriarchal for decades, ie male dominated. As we all know that women were allowed to cook and produce only in ancient times. Although there has been a slight improvement in the society, women are still backward in many stages due to discrimination and gender inequality, which lies deeply in rural and urban societies of India. Women in any house are important for the overall development of the family. She lays the foundation of her family that defines the future and development of a nation. His contribution in various fields is still ignored. Chanakya Jan Utthan Foundation strongly believes that all women have the ability to develop, provided they have information, adequate skills and necessary resources. We are running several projects to give better opportunities to empower women, focusing on gender equality. We have focused on the age group of 18-45 years from the marginalized section of the society by providing them skills through our women empowerment programs.

Health

During our work in the Doiwala-Dehradun region, it became evident that this vast area is home to a large population that is not only unemployed but also uneducated. Due to a lack of financial resources and education, these individuals often neglect their health. Consequently, the Foundation regularly organizes health camps within the slum areas. Through these camps, both men and women are educated about the symptoms associated with common ailments. In addition to providing information regarding various diseases, the camps also serve to inform people about the health-related schemes currently being implemented by the government. Furthermore, health awareness camps are organized periodically within these settlements. The Foundation's ultimate objective is to ensure that every individual in society enjoys good health, thereby paving the way for a healthy nation in the future.

Skill development

Since one of the important means of empowerment is financial freedom, the Foundation or NGO wants to help youth and women develop a skills that can give them jobs and thus they can become financially independent. Our organizations are organized to the youth in collaboration with coaching, various skill development and other placement programs. Especially by making a woman employment to a woman, the Foundation believes that the whole family is empowered. Skill Development and Livelihood Programs include the organization's desire skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE), Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana (PMKVY), Jeevika Opportunity Promotion Scheme, MukhyamantriHunarYojana (Government of Uttarakhand) and providing skill development courses with job guarantee to youth and women. This system will also help the beneficiaries to get short-term training programs, recognition of pre-education, remarkable progress, skills and employment fair, placement monitoring guidelines.
